These hand carved rings are made of antler, which means differences will occur from the photo making each ring a one of a kind special creation made just for you. Because of their organic vulnerable quality, should not be expected to match the durability of man-made material such as metal or plastic. Antler is an organic material and its durability is not predictable nor is it in the hands of the crafter. Because of this vulnerability, it is the buyer's responsibility to exercise sound judgement when deciding when to wear their ring. The Antlered Doe expertly crafts each of these rings by hand to be as durable as possible and takes no responsibility for damage incurred following delivery of the item. Repairs are happily done in most cases for the cost of shipping or for a small fee. By purchasing one of these rings, you agree to these terms.
Care
I hand carve these rings to be as durable as possible, but they are not indestructible. I suggest these for occasional wear
-Avoid getting your jewelry wet-these rings are fully hand carved from antler, and antler is essentially bone. Excessive moisture getting into the bone will cause the sealant to bubble and peel.
-Do not allow your jewelry to come into contact with harsh chemicals, hand sanitizer, lotions, dyes or cosmetics. Antler is extremely porous and when it comes into contact with certain substances can cause damage.
-Remove your jewelry before doing anything strenuous with your hands. These are fully carved from bone, and although it is strong, bone has limitations.
Wearability
I hand carve these completely from bone, so, for durability purposes they must be slightly bulkier than a traditional metal ring. They will not feel like a traditional metal ring when worn. These are art pieces and art is not always completely practical, but you will stand out in a crowd and have a great conversation piece on your finger!

Return/Exchange policy
All returns and exchanges postmarked 30 days or after order date will not be accepted. Items must be in like new/unworn condition with tag attached. All items that do not fall under these conditions will be returned at the customers expense
